Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Maybe you set up a test home, or made a mistake during installation. No worries! The Vision+ app now lets you remove a home from your account quickly and easily. This helps keep your dashboard clean and avoids unnecessary support steps.
What Happens When You Remove a Home?
When you confirm the removal:
- The home is permanently deleted from your account.
- All devices linked to that home are unassigned.
- Your gateway becomes available for someone else to claim, just like it’s brand new.
Important: This does not reset your devices physically. If you want to wipe device data, you’ll still need to perform a manual reset.
How to Remove a Home
- Open the Vision+ app and go to Settings.
- Tap Home Management.
- Scroll down and select Remove Home.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear with this message:
"If you remove this Home, your main gateway device will also be deleted. All information linked to it will be lost." - Choose:
- Cancel if you changed your mind.
- Confirm to proceed. You’ll see a quick confirmation message and return to your dashboard.
Things to Keep in Mind
- This action cannot be undone. Once you confirm, the home and its data are gone for good.
- Devices remain paired to the gateway unless you manually reset them.
